Magazine cover

This product is a magazine cover created by myself and has been added to my online portfolio to display my skills to potential employers. This product ​was used for event advertising of the Maldon and Burnham summer music festival. During the production of this product I used creative and technical skills such as the use of photo pea, and typography. I used typography skills by creating a mast head and covering lines that contain essential information and effectively advertise the event. I Also focused on art direction to ensure that this cover would align with the company's identity and target audience whilst showcasing a clear knowledge of colour phycology. One example of this would be the use of the colour yellow as this is a bold colour that contrasts the background of the magazine cover. Additionally, the use of this yellow accurately displays to employers my art direction skills as this colour links in with the brands visions for a summery and musical design.
